Volunteer for the Miracle League

If you would like to volunteer your time and energy to the enjoyment of children as they play baseball, please fill out the applicable form and mail it per the directions provided. Anyone 17 years and older who volunteers and has direct contact with any player for a period of time will be subject to a criminal background check for the safety of our players.

You need to fill out an Angels in the Outfield volunteer application and the background check form for all those over 18 years old.

We need Coaches and Assistant Coaches as well as volunteer umpires. All volunteers must fill out a background check for the safety of our players.

On October 15, 2008, Alltel Wireless sponsored a live performance of the Latin Pop Rock band "Reik" at the Miracle League field in Ponder Park. The Alltel employees came out by the hundreds to buddy with our players, Young Guns and Rockies, cheered and helped out in any way. The band Reik sang two songs, danced with our players, Regina Pitts, Alejandra Salomon and Christian Licon, played baseball and presented the League with an autographed guitar for a future auction. Alltel presented the League with a $10,000 donation and a lot of goodies for players, families, and volunteers. On November 2, 2008, Alltel sponsored the downtown festival for Dia de Los Muertos featuring Reik and Ha*Ash presenting VIP passes to some of our players' families and volunteers with passes to the after party at the Plaza Theatre.
