Tee Ball Rules

1. Player age: 5-9 years old.
2. Player must have registration form signed by parent or legal guardian, along with media release.
3. Each player receives a team uniform and baseball hat.
4. Each player gets to bat each inning.
5. Each player gets to circle the bases to score a run each inning.
6. Every player scores and is never called “OUT”.
7. Two innings per team per game.
8. Game time=1 hour and 15-20 minutes.
9. Each player will receive ONE assigned buddy for each game.
10. Teams consist of no more than 12-13 players.
11. Each player will receive an award at the end of the season.
12. Teams use a 9 in. soft-core safety baseball with synthetic cover or woffle balls may be used. Beep baseballs for the visually impaired.
13. Games are cancelled in the event of rain or inclement weather when played outdoors.
14. A Miracle League coach cannot coach another Miracle League Team.
15. A volunteer covers each game to call the players safe on first and home.
16. Coaches are to huddle with the children before the start of each game to instill excitement about the game.
17. Reminder that the buddies are there for three reasons:
    1. Protect the Miracle League player at all times.
    2. Assist the Miracle League player only as needed, allowing the player the opportunity to play as much as possible.
    3. Encouragement.

***A scholarship fund is available for players who are not able to pay the registration fee.
